Location S is a 12-story, 415,000 square foot facility that makes Cincinnati Children's one of the largest pediatric research programs in the country, as our total research space reaches nearly 1 million square feet.

Education and Training

The Division of Pulmonary Biology offers multiple training opportunities for postdoctoral fellows and clinical fellows. A central theme of the training in our division is to investigate the basic science and mechanisms of lung development and underlying causes of lung disease. The long-term goal is to take discoveries from the bench to the bedside through translational research that utilizes the knowledge gained from the basic science research.

• PhD: Students interested in PhD training in the Division of Pulmonary Biology should contact the investigator and must apply to the Molecular and Developmental Biology Graduate Program.
• MD/PhD: Those interested in the combined MD and PhD program should apply to the Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP) at the University of Cincinnati.
• Postdoctoral: Graduates interested in postdoctoral training should send their cv or resume, including publications, to the investigator they are interested in working with.
• MD: Clinical fellow applicants should apply to the Neonatology Fellowship Training Program.
