Patient Care Activities
The patient care activities in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine include care of 700 patients with asthma (in conjunction with the Division of Allergy/Immunology) and 250 patients with cystic fibrosis, and inpatient and outpatient consultations for asthma, recurrent pneumonia, noisy breathing, and other respiratory diseases. We offer special clinics for children with sleep disorders, ventilator dependency, and CPAP therapy. The division offers pulmonary function tests, exercise tests, bronchial provocation tests, sleep studies, and fiberoptic flexible bronchoscopy.
