Bio
Since his return to Cincinnati in 1979, Jeffrey Wacksman, MD, has been interested in the development of microscopic surgery to repair both the intra-abdominal, undescended testis and the severe hypospadias. In addition, Dr. Wacksman has a new interest in the microscopic repair of children with varicoceles.
Dr. Wacksman has also pioneered the extra-vesical reimplant to allow for short-stay surgery in the management of vesicoureteral reflux. Over the years, Dr. Wacksman has delivered multiple papers and addressed multiple audiences on the topic of this surgical approach.
In the future, Dr. Wacksman hopes to develop a laparoscopic approach to the surgical management of vesicoureteral reflux in association with the Ethicon Surgical Group.
