• Research at the Center for ADHD

Established in 2005, the Center for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is composed of a multi-disciplinary team of investigators across several divisions including Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, General Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. Currently, our team is working on more than 12 federally funded research studies as well as multiple studies with alternative funding sources, primarily focusing on developing new and innovative ways to understand, evaluate and treat ADHD. We are proud of our partnerships with many local community institutions including most school districts in the Greater Cincinnati region and hundreds of community-based physicians across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. This connection between our community, our research efforts and our clinical practice facilitates rapid translation of our research studies into new and innovative ways to improve the outcomes of children with ADHD.
