Elizabeth Hughes is a research assistant III in the laboratory.
George Istaphanous, MD, is an assistant professor of clinical anesthesia and pediatrics and a member of the laboratory.
Bernadin Joseph is a research assistant IV in the laboratory.
Erica Lin, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist on staff at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, then pursued fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology at Cincinnati Children’s. Research interests include the effects of hypoxia on the immature brain; clinical interests include pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
Andreas Loepke, MD, PhD, is a clinician-scientist studying the effects of anesthetics on the developing brain. He directs a basic science laboratory and coordinates preclinical, translational and clinical research projects into the developmental properties of anesthetics, both neuroprotective as well as neurotoxic. Loepke’s clinical focus is on pediatric cardiac anesthesia and single-ventricle physiology.
Christopher Ward, MD, is an assistant professor of clinical anesthesia and pediatrics and a member of the laboratory.
