The research interest of the lab is to study the molecular mechanisms of asthma pathogenesis and develop novel pharmacological therapies for asthma. We utilize both in vitro and in vivo approaches to elucidate the biological functions of interleukin-13 receptors and farnesoid X receptor in development of allergic asthma. The long-term goals are to advance our understanding of the molecular basis for asthma and help find a cure for asthma.
