    Dennis Drotar, PhD

    Dennis Drotar, PhD, is professor in the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s and Director of the Center for Adherence and Self-Management. Dr. Drotar is a past president of the Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP) and is currently editor of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology.

    Jeannette Iskander

    Jeannette joined the Drotar Lab in June 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science from Youngstown State University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton. She is the coordinator of the SMART-2 study which examines treatment adherence in adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes. She is interested in pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis on pediatric or child clinical psychology. She has interests in the interaction between social-environmental and dispositional factors as predictors of psychopathology in children and adolescents, as well as their relation to chronic medical conditions.

    Jennifer M. Rohan, MA

    Jennifer joined the Drotar Lab in June 2007 after obtaining a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in May 2007. She is currently working on several research projects, including two R01s and several pilot studies, all investigating treatment adherence and self-management in children and adolescents with chronic conditions. Jennifer is currently an advanced graduate student in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. Her research and clinical interests include treatment adherence and self-management in pediatric chronic illness populations, advanced statistical modeling, and developing innovative interventions and measurement models for treatment adherence and self-management.
