    Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training

    • CCTST website provides information on the center, codirected by James Heubi, MD, professor of pediatrics, assistant dean for clinical research and program director of the Clinical Translational Research Center, and Joel Tsevat, MD, MPH, professor of medicine and assistant dean for clinical research, with support from the program manager, Susan Swearingen. Located in building “S” on the Cincinnati Children’s main campus, floor 10, suite 300, the CCTST serves the entire UC Academic Health Center.

    National Institutes of Health (NIH)

    The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) provides research technologies and shared resources for NIH investigators. The General Clinical Research Centers belong to this subdivision of the NIH and serve as a facet in the clinical research resources of the NCRR. The NCRR also has information on the general clinical research links.

    A list of all General Clinical Research Centers with websites is maintained by the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill General Clinical Research Center. UNC at Chapel Hill also maintains a list of NIH-related links relevant to the General Clinical Research Centers.

    The University of Utah developed a site for the General Clinical Research Center Bioinformatics Group. This group was formed to assist General Clinical Research Centers and their investigators to intelligently and effectively utilize emerging technologies. The site also has an excellent links database for information on General Clinical Research Centers and bioinformatics.
