The Wells laboratory provides training for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, pediatric fellows, medical students and undergraduate students. In addition to one-on-one meetings, the members of the Wells, Deutsch and Zorn labs meet once a week to discuss individual progress and plans. The faculty, fellows, students and staff also meet every other week with other groups from the Division of Developmental Biology for presentations by graduate students or postdocs, news and general discussion.
We’ve also established The Endoderm Club, which meets every other week with other research groups that study development and disease of endoderm organs at the research foundation. In this relaxed environment, researchers from 14 labs discuss late breaking research in areas ranging from liver development and disease to lung regeneration.
The Wells and Zorn labs meet weekly to present data, discuss ideas and drink coffee.
Discussions often continue over lunch.
