The High School Science Symposium is a day-long event that allows local high school juniors and seniors to meet doctors and scientists who are finding cures for childhood diseases. During this program, students will learn about research projects and will tour clinical and research facilities, emphasizing hands-on activities while visiting three areas of the Medical Center, including the Research Foundation.
The Summer Internship is an 8 week program over the summer where graduating high school seniors are paired with a mentor in one of the pediatric specialties at Cincinnati Children's. This internship is a paid, part-time position.
Interns shadow their mentor on rounds and can participate in clinical or research projects and have the option of observing in other specialties (ER, OR, NICU, etc.) upon request.
