Shin Research Lab

Dr. Shin is a member of the Liver Tumor Program. The Shin lab’s research aims to decipher the molecular and cellular mechanism of childhood liver cancer with a focus on fibrolamellar carcinoma and to investigate the role of facultative postnatal hepatic progenitor cells in liver disease. The Shin lab employs molecular genetic approaches to discover novel strategies for prevention and treatment of liver cancer.
