INNOVATIONS in Community Research and Program Evaluation
INNOVATIONS is a wide-reaching resource for educational and nonprofit organizations wishing to evaluate, enhance and expand their capabilities in the communities they serve. Through partnerships with us, these organizations gain the ability to assess their programs, the resources needed to better serve their clients and the opportunity to improve the quality of their services.
Our team of behavioral medicine and psychology specialists offer program evaluation services, program consultation and technical assistance, web-based data systems, grant writing assistance, strategic planning and continuous quality improvement services. Partner organizations benefit from our experience and expertise in a broad range of topics related to health disparities and community issues (i.e. violence prevention, teen pregnancy, premature birth, community-based assessment and intervention).
We are experts at assessing baseline community conditions and relationships, using data to establish goals, strategies, and benchmarks for change, evaluating progress with goals and change in community conditions and relationships over time, assessing community strengths and limitations, and applying a resiliency approach wherein community strengths may be used to improve community limitations and relationships.
In addition, we strive to build honest and sustainable relationships with the community organizations and agencies we work with. Through our collaborative work in the community, we are committed to addressing, decreasing, and ultimately eliminating social, educational and health disparities in underprivileged populations. Our vision is to be the leader in providing culturally relevant program consultation and evaluation services and in training the next generation of community health researchers and leaders.
