The process of blastocyst implantation requires synchronized development of the blastocyst to implantation competency, differentiation of the uterus to the receptive state, and a reciprocal dialogue between the blastocyst and uterine luminal epithelium. We are working to identify, on genetic and molecular levels, signal pathways that are critical to this process.
