Research Fellow PhD, China Agricultural University, Beijing, 2011I am working on a developmental program for polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1) dependent regulation of uterine stromal cell decidualization in implantation induced by natural estrogen or xenoestrogenic compounds. Studies will also discover PRC1-dependent global gene regulation in decidual cells during the early pregnancy.
ProfessorPhD, Biochemistry, University of Calcutta, India, 1988For almost two decades, my research has primarily been focused on defining the molecular basis of uterine growth and differentiation during early pregnancy, with special emphasis on the signaling mechanisms of estrogen and progesterone receptors, growth factors, cell-cycle regulators, and non-genomic estrogenic functions without involving classical estrogen receptors.
