CHIPS is a computer program written in Interactive Data Language (Research Systems Inc., Boulder, CO) for the analysis of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), spectroscopy (MRS) and x-ray computed tomography (CT) data including: data from functional MRI (fMRI) scans, perfusion-weighted MRI, diffusion-weighted and spectroscopic experiments. CHIPS runs on all Unix, Windows, and Macintosh computer platforms. The program was developed by Vincent J. Schmithorst, PhD, in the Imaging Research Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
