Bio

Christina Ramey is the program coordinator for the Center for the Promotion of Treatment Adherence and Self-Management.

Christina’s career began in 1999 as a Children's Hospital research volunteer.  After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Christina accepted a position as Research Assistant II and has continued to advance in this line of work.  Her career reflects a long-term commitment to research involving children and their families.

Christina provides support to Dr. Dennis Drotar, who is the Division Director of the Adherence Center.  Currently, Christina oversees many projects involving facilitating the development of the Center.  Specifically, Christina manages several pilot studies of new research initiatives, provides mentorship to Research Assistants, and enhances the utility of the Center’s operations.

Christina is both excited and grateful to be working in this position.  The things she enjoys most about her position are working with the families, "because it is their involvement that adds to our knowledge as researchers."  Christina appreciates the time in which the families have dedicated to participating in our studies.  She also loves the interaction with the research assistants and volunteers, because she can assist in guiding their careers and can help to guide their future endeavors.
