Position History
Meggie's career began in 2004 as a Children's Hospital research volunteer, beginning with the Center for ADHD and then transitioning over to the AdherenceCenter, specifically with Dr. Ahna Pai in her junior year of college. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2008, Meggie accepted a position as an administrative assistant working with Dr. Dennis Drotar and the Adherence Center. During her undergraduate studies Meggie worked at UC's Institutional Review Board, was a Research Assistant for Dr. Joel Warm in his Human Facotrs/Vigalence lab, and was the President of Psi Chi - the Psychology National Honors Society, UC Chapter.
Meggie provides support to Dr. Dennis Drotar, who is the Director of the AdherenceCenter as well as the rest of the faculty in the Adherence Center. However, Meggie is also working on several research projects which include co-managing the Clinical Service research study with Drs. Cortina & Drotar and helping develop an asthma quality of life study from an R01 under the mentorship of Dr. Drotar.
Meggie is grateful for her nontraditional route of gaining experience as she has learned so much working with such talented faculty who have helped mentor her career thus far. She plans on applying to graduate school for the Fall of 2010 in hopes to pursue a career in the field of pediatric psychology.
