Ahna Luise Hoff Pai, PhD, is a faculty member in the Center for the Promotion of Adherence and Self-Management. She is currently developing pilot studies and a K award to examine factors influencing and developing interventions to promote adherence to kidney and liver transplant treatment regimens. Dr. Pai is also working on developing a cancer-specific measure of illness uncertainty, a cognitive contract associated with increased distress and other adverse psychological outcomes. Finally, she is working with Dennis Drotar, PhD, on his R01, an intervention to increase oral medication adherence among adolescents with acute lymphblastic leukemia.
