Meggie Bonner

Meggie Bonner is a volunteer research assistant in Dr. Ahna Pai's lab at The Center for the Promotion of Adherence and Self-Management.  Meggie started at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as a volunteer in 2005 while working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. During her junior and senior years she has been working on her senior thesis, which is a joint project with UC and Children's Hospital, looking at the outcomes of organizational skills interventions for elementary and middle school age children with ADHD.

In December 2007, Meggie joined Dr. Pai's research team and began working on a pilot study for self-management of regimens in pediatric renal transplants.  She is involved with recruiting, data collection and data management, as well as other tasks that arise within the lab.  She enjoys working with these families and learning about clinical research.

Meggie is grateful for the opportunities Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Dr. Pai have given her.  After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in June 2008, she aspires to take her knowledge from these experiences in applying to graduate schools and working towards her PhD in clinical psychology.
