Lead is one of the more insidious environmental health hazards for children today. Unfortunately, the hazard is largely one of our own doing. Researchers at the Children's Environmental Health Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center have gathered information about the history of lead in this area to highlight how this hazardous material became so prevalent in American households in the first place.
