Lupus Clinical Trial Outcomes

The purpose of this study is to find better ways to assess whether and how childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE) changes over time.

  • Approximately 40 participants from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center; a total of 100 from across the country
  • An outcome study; no experimental medicines, treatments or procedures are involved; study data will be gathered from the medical record
  • Seven study visits over 18 months (1.5 years); study visits will always occur at the time of a routine visit with your doctor
  • Subjects will complete questionnaires regarding health and well-being; these will take approximately 20 minutes to complete; physicians will also answer questions as part of the study
