- 1,000 study subjects from multiple centers in U.S. and Canada
- Study information (data) collected at time of diagnosis, and then once a year until subject reaches age 20, whenever possible
- Study data goes to a large national database
- Collection of study data can be incorporated into regularly scheduled pediatric rheumatology appointments (No extra physician visits for study)
- You and your child's name, address, telephone number are requested as study data (to maintain long term contact for follow-up)
- Information from regularly scheduled doctor's visit (rheumatology) will be collected as study data
- No additional blood tests, x-rays or medical tests are required as a part of this study
- Parent to fill out questionnaire about how the child is able to perform daily activities (takes 10 minutes to complete). It can be mailed to you at home and then mailed back if not seeing rheumatologist.
