Consultation for complicated medical problems for 12- to 21-year-olds is provided by board-certified physicians in the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine.
Common referral issues include:

- Medical evaluation and referral for mood and behavioral problems
- Medical evaluation and referral for school performance issues
- Persistent fatigue
- Reproductive health issues
