Lisa W. Hilbert, MA, CCC-A, is one of the cochlear implant audiologists in the Cochlear Implant (CI) program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She provides cochlear implant consultations and evaluations and performs post-implant programming. Mrs. Hilbert also provides in-services to school personnel and other who work with children with cochlear implants. In addition, she gives presentations regarding cochlear implants to local professionals and students.
As a staff member of the Division of Audiology, Mrs. Hilbert performs comprehensive audiologic evaluations on infants and children. This includes Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluation, Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) testing, hearing aid evaluation and fitting and dispensing. She has been involved in various research projects with the Divisions of Audiology and Otolaryngology and the Cochlear Implant Team.
Mrs. Hilbert has participated in several committees within the Department of Patient Services at Cincinnati Children's. She was previously a member of the Vision Implementation Task Force Evaluation team, the Decision Making Task Force for the Intradepartmental Committees, the Intradepartmental Practice Committee and the Division of Audiology Practice Committee. She currently serves on the Shared Governance Council for the Division of Audiology.
Mrs. Hilbert joined Cincinnati Children's in January 1994. She came from Holzer Clinic in Gallipolis, Ohio, where she began her Clinical Fellowship year. Her externship training prior to that was at Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
