  • Congenital Heart Disease in the Adult: An International Symposium


    Join us June 10-13, 2014 in Cincinnati for the 24th Annual Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. 

    The 24th annual Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program will be a comprehensive, state-of-the-art event for physicians and nurse practitioners with an established interest in adult congenital heart disease. The educational program will consist of a rich mixture of topic-oriented and case-based learning.

    Themes and topics will include:

    • Perioperative and critical care management in ACHD
    • Cardiac catheterization, including congenital and other structural interventions
    • Exercise physiology, pathology and rehabilitation
    • Electrophysiology: Consensus guidelines for clinical management
    • Pregnancy and heart disease
    • Transitional medicine in CHD: concepts and practices


    The 24th Annual Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program is presented by the AACHD Program at the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
