  • American Board of Pediatrics Maintenance of Certification

    The Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s offers information about completing the American Board of Pediatrics Maintenance of Certification (ABP-MOC) attestation form.


    Eligible pediatricians:

    1. Are recertifying with ABP through 2016
    2. Are at least year-long participants in the ADHD Collaborative any time since 2004
    3. Have a minimum of five ADHD patients actively managed during the year of participation as documented on end-of-project scorecard
    4. Have a minimum of 3 out of 14 measures meeting the AAP guidelines
    5. Minimum documentation of 4 “Plan-Do-Study-Act Cycles” (i.e. Test of Change Package)

    How to check your ABP MOC account status

    To access your ABP Physician Portfolio (ABP PDF Instructions) please follow these 4 easy steps:

    1. Visit and enter your user ID and password

    2. Select “Maintenance of Certification”

    3. Select “My MOC Requirements”

    4. Select “Check Current Progress”

    This opens an illustration for your individual progress through the MOC cycle.  Progress and requirements are indicated of what has or has not been completed.  There is also a time line as to when the requirements are due to maintain certification.
