If you are ready to apply, email adhdstp@cchmc.org to start the multi-step application process. We have a thorough eligibility process to help us enroll children who are most likely to benefit from the program.

If you would like to learn more about the program, parent information sessions are offered virtually until spots are filled. An overview of the purpose of the STP and detailed information regarding the interventions and program are reviewed. Parents can register for an information session by contacting adhdstp@cchmc.org.

Steps in the Eligibility Process

  1. Complete parent and teacher eligibility questionnaires – once the application is completed we will make our best effort to review it within one week. Parent questionnaires may be sent in two phases to expedite the review process.
  2. Once we have reviewed the eligibility questionnaires, we will either:
    • Reach out to schedule an eligibility appointment, or
    • Reach out to schedule a time to obtain additional information by phone, or
    • Reach out to let you know that your child is ineligible
  3. The eligibility appointment is a billed visit and may be eligible to be covered by your insurance. Our Patient Representative can let you know the procedure code so you can check your insurance coverage prior to your visit. We spend most of the visit gathering additional information from parent(s) and briefly interview the child.
  4. After the eligibility visit is completed we will review all information with our clinical team and make our best effort to let you know whether your child is eligible within one week.

Availability is limited to the STP to ensure children receive the individualized care and attention they deserve.

  • Currently, this program is not approved for health insurance coverage as a mental health expense.
  • Health Saving/Flexible Spending Accounts may be eligible to be used.
  • A payment plan is available. A $500 deposit will be due upon acceptance into the program to hold your child’s spot in the program and the remainder can be broken up into two payments due May 31 and July 5.
  • Annual Tuition: $4,750.00 (A limited number of scholarships will be available for 2024 pending an eligibility review.)
  • We do our best to make the program fun like summer camp, but it is intense treatment with a lot of support. The cost includes direct clinical intervention for more than seven hours each day, plus enrollment in a weekly parent group to help families maintain gains made over the summer. We have an approximately two to one child-to-staff ratio and one full-time, on-site, licensed clinical psychologist.
