• Human Milk Donation Program

    The Mothers’ Milk Bank of Ohio in Columbus is a member of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) and provides pasteurized donor breast milk to infants who are premature or have life-threatening conditions.

    Mothers with expressed milk in excess of what is needed by their own infants are screened by the milk bank. Donated milk is heat pasteurized and handled according to HMBANA standards.  

    This pasteurized donor milk is available to infants in need through physician prescription. Milk donors do not receive monetary compensation.
