Cincinnati Home Injury Prevention (CHIP) Study

  • Cincinnati Home Injury Prevention

    Study Overview

The Cincinnati Home Injury Prevention (CHIP) and Literacy Promotion Study seeks to promote childhood literacy and reduce injuries in the homes of young children.  We will look at potential home injury hazards and test ways to make homes safer.  The CHIP Study will also support childhood literacy by providing families with developmentally appropriate books and educating parents about the importance of reading to their child.

The CHIP Study is funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Development (NICHD).
