  • Fistula in Ano

    Fistula in ano is an abnormal channel between the anus and the perianal skin. It is also referred to as a perianal fistula. This type of fistula can occur secondary to a perirectal abscess or spontaneously. It occurs more commonly in boys and usually presents before 1 year of age.
