For Healthcare Professionals
The Colorectal Center for Children encourages collaboration and learning opportunities for healthcare professionals. The center offers such things as a biannual workshop, periodic grand rounds and an e-newsletter with news on colorectal surgery and the center. Advanced training is offered through our fellowship program. The Visiting Surgeons and Nurses program not only allows for healthcare professionals to come and observe the program but also allows surgeon’s who have referred complicated cases to be credentialed and accompany the patient to Cincinnati and participate in the surgery with Colorectal Center physicians.
Pediatric Colorectal Problems Workshop
The Pediatric Colorectal Problems Workshop is held twice a year at Cincinnati Children’s. It highlights treatment techniques and provides live surgical demonstrations. We welcome pediatric surgeons, urologists, gynecologists and gastroenterologists and nurses who manage patients with colorectal issues.
