Community Practice Services reduces the cost and inefficiencies associated with communication issues between relevant business partners. It is sometimes difficult to determine if a problem is IT or software related. If you have two or more companies in the mix, confusion and finger-pointing can result. With CPS, your practice makes a single phone call, streamlining communication and offering your practice unparalleled support. We have team members answering calls from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 8am - 5pm on Saturdays. And, as a part of Cincinnati Children’s, we leverage the knowledge and resources of a 400 member IT staff. That’s a lot of IT support!
Our team knows your office staff and understands the way your office works. We keep our services relevant to your practice. Every month, CPS organizes The Clinical Content Committee meeting for physicians using our EHR services. This provides an opportunity for physicians to share their best practices within the NextGen system and to talk about potential customizations that could make the system more efficient.
Community Practice Services facilitates six meetings a year for practice managers to exchange ideas and to learn about industry changes. Recent discussions included: Attestation for additional Medicaid payments, Meaningful Use, ICD-10 and Patient Centered Medical Home. You can attend in person, or if more convenient, remote in.
We will (if you’d like and for no additional charge) work with your practice to qualify for Meaningful Use and Patient Centered Medical Home, convert to ICD-10, make billing recommendations to increase the likelihood of payment, and identify and resolve bundling issues. We handle all payment compliance issues for our Premium Plan customers and we give monthly progress reports. We work closely with all payers so that your contracts are being honored, right down to the individual CPT code. If you are a Tri State PHO member, we obtain, load and monitor your contracted payer fee schedules.
Is your current vendor having trouble servicing your software interface needs for performance measurements, special initiatives, lab orders or lab results? Do these special services take months to resolve or cost extra? We are closely aligned with Tri State Child Health Services, Inc. PHO and have worked collaboratively on data transfer for various initiatives. We help you design and build data collection forms, and we extract the data without any additional work or cost to your practice. We make it easy to meet the PHO benchmark for appropriate level of care.
Additionally Cincinnati Children’s has worked closely with HealthBridge for over 15 years. The regional labs and hospitals feed results through HealthBridge and our association with HealthBridge allows your practice to efficiently obtain and manage results, via a single interface to you and at no additional cost.
