  • Care for the Most Complex Intestinal Disorders / Intestinal Failure

Proper nutrition is vital for your child’s health and growth. An intestinal disorder can put your child at risk for a number of long-term, nutrition-related problems.

    What is Intestinal Failure?

Intestinal failure occurs when a child’s intestines cannot digest enough nutrients and fluids to support his or her growth and development. Short bowel syndrome is the most common cause of intestinal failure in children.
