Patient Advocates serve as liaisons between you and your healthcare team to ensure your child receives the best care possible. They are a dedicated department within Cincinnati Children’s.
Patient Advocates listen to your questions, concerns and compliments about your visit to Cincinnati Children’s. They work with you and your healthcare team to improve communication and encourage a partnership that promotes wellness and healing.
We believe every patient at Cincinnati Children’s deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect – regardless of their race, color, religion, citizenship or sexual orientation.

Patient Advocates are not clinically trained. Talk to your doctor or the nursing staff on your unit. If you feel your concerns are not addressed, contact our Family Relations Department.
If you have medical questions after an ER visit, contact the Emergency Department at 513-636-4293 within 24 hours of discharge. After 24 hours, contact your pediatrician regarding medical concerns.
If you have questions, concerns or compliments that cannot be addressed by your care team, contact our Family Relations Department at 513-636-4700 or email advocates@cchmc.org.
If you have questions about your billing or insurance coverage, contact the Billing Department at 513-636-4427.
