A National Leader in Pediatric Gastroenterology
In its 2012 issue of “Best Children’s Hospitals,” U.S. News & World Report ranked the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s as the No. 3 program in the nation. From 2009-11, we were ranked No. 1 in the nation. We’re proud of this recognition. It’s evidence of our commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for more than 4,000 new patients each year.
Since the division’s founding in 1968, we have continually worked to advance our field. We pursue ground-breaking basic and clinical research that will enhance our ability to care for our patients. And we train the next generation of our field’s researchers and clinicians to the highest standards. As a result, we’ve grown into one of the most comprehensive pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition centers in the nation.
Whatever your gastroenterology, nutrition or hepatology needs are, we can assist you. Our physicians are excellent general gastroenterologists. In addition we have developed unique areas of subspecialty expertise such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver and small bowel transplantation, intestinal rehabilitation, chronic liver disease, obesity related fatty liver disease, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, neurogastroenterology and motility disorders, and feeding disorders.
