We're devoted to understanding the causes of pediatric heart disease and finding novel cures.
The Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center transforms outcomes through the full integration of our clinical and research programs. Our unique approach to care helps our care teams to better understand, develop and deliver the latest, most effective treatments for children with heart disease.
Our Institute approach brings physicians, nurses and other clinical staff together with basic, clinical and translational research teams to change the way pediatric heart disease is diagnosed, treated, and potentially prevented.

The Heart Institute team at Cincinnati Children's developed the Heart Institute Encyclopedia to provide easily accessible information on cardiac diseases, defects, disorders, and problems that may affect a child's heart.
