    This comprehensive heart failure program is for pediatric cardiologists, nurses, critical care physicians and pediatric heart failure and transplant specialists. The 2014 program will be hosted by the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, in partnership with Sick Kids Labatt Family Heart Centre and Texas Children’s Heart Center.

    This symposium reflects a partnership between Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Texas Children’s Hospital. The program curriculum and activities are designed to provide an interactive educational forum for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who care for pediatric patients with heart failure.

    The conference agenda will focus on salient clinical developments and important research in the approach to and treatment of heart failure organized around the following themes:

    • Pharmacotherapeutic implications
    • Cardiomyopathy
    • Mechanical circulatory systems
    • Electrophysiology

    Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
