The interventional radiology team at Cincinnati Children’s offers the Interventional Radiology Clinic to better serve our patients’ needs. Dedicated clinic hours are offered.
An interventional radiologist can meet patients and families before the procedure to answer questions. They may also meet after the procedure to assist in the management of follow-up care.
What to expect during your appointment
Patients and families will meet the interventional radiologist as a consultation for the interventional radiology procedure. The patient’s case will be reviewed and any questions can be answered.
Pre-procedural lab work can be done during your clinic visit, and the interventional radiologist will determine if an anesthesia consult is necessary.
