Perinatal Outreach Project
The Cincinnati Children's Perinatal Outreach Project (CCPOP) provides professional education and consultative services to perinatal health care providers in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The CCPOP is part of a regionalized system under The Regional Perinatal Outreach Education Program, a state-wide program. The CCPOP represents Perinatal Region One in the State of Ohio, and is funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Health.
Improving Perinatal Health is the primary goal of CCPOP and the group has four strategies to achieve that goal:
- Develop integrated health care delivery programs to optimize systems of perinatal care
- Educate providers of perinatal care to improve perinatal health
- Identify preventable morbidity and mortality through utilization of the Regional Perinatal Database
- Monitor healthcare delivery trends and alert regional health professionals to emerging issues
We serve Perinatal Region One, which includes 14 counties and 18 hospitals.
The counties served by CPOP in Perinatal Region One are:
In Ohio: Adams Brown Butler Clermont Clinton Hamilton Highland Warren | | In Kentucky: Boone Campbell Kenton | | In Indiana: Mason Dearborn Franklin |
