The Division of Neonatology at Cincinnati Children’s is changing the outcomes for our patients and their families.  | Robby Dumford was born with a life-threatening condition called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Because of his fighting spirit and the comprehensive CDH care at Cincinnati Children’s, Robby survived. But he still faces huge challenges, and his care team will be with him every step of the way.  | Mia was born 12 weeks early. In her fragile state, Mia developed necrotizing enterocolitis, a devastating and often deadly bowel disease that strikes premature infants. She was transferred to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), part of the Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children’s, and had life-saving surgery. Read Mia's story. |
