The Neurogastroenterology and Motility Disorders Program at Cincinnati Children's is one of only a few in the United States offering comprehensive assessment and therapy for complex motility disorders, which often involve other organ systems or are present in combination with other serious illnesses.
Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach towards individualized patient care, our neurogastroenterology team, led by director Ajay Kaul, MBBS, MD, collaborates with departments across the hospital, including (but not limited to) radiology, pathology, behavioral medicine, nutrition, small bowel transplant, aerodigestive and colorectal surgery. Our team has extensive experience in managing the most complex of gastrointestinal disorders, including in children with special needs.
Our goal is to provide an explanation for your child’s symptoms and treatment options, including potential options for a long-term treatment plan, which families can carry out under the care of their referring pediatrician or gastroenterologist.
To best manage your child’s care, please call 513-636-4415 to schedule an appointment with us ahead of time.
