How long will my child’s eye exam take?
Your child’s eye examination will take approximately 2 ½ hours.
What should I bring to my child’s eye appointment?
Please bring the following items to your child’s eye appointment:
- Insurance card
- Previous eye exam records
- Questions you have for your child’s eye care provider.

What are your office hours?
The Division of Ophthalmology has clinic hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday at all locations. Saturday appointments are also available at the main clinic in Location E at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Who are the professionals who will evaluate my child?
The Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology has a comprehensive team of eye care providers to help meet all of your child's eye care needs. Our team includes pediatric ophthalmologists, optometrists, two certified orthoptists, certified ophthalmic technicians and a skilled nursing staff.
