The Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children’s provides comprehensive care and services for infants before, during and after delivery.
We treat 700 infants each year in our Level IV Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
We have more than 60 researchers investigating methods to advance the care of newborns.
The birth of a baby is one of life’s greatest joys. But for parents whose newborn comes into the world too soon or struggles with birth defects, it can be a time of great anxiety. We created the Perinatal Institute to give infants who get off to a difficult start the chance to survive and thrive – and to give their parents peace of mind.
Our institute brings together many neonatal experts, all with one goal: to give babies a long, healthy life. The mission of the Perinatal Institute is to improve the health of newborns through innovation in clinical care, research and education.
