• Thrower’s Clinic

    The Throwing Clinic was developed with both the injured and healthy baseball and softball player in mind. The aim of the clinic is to evaluate the overhead throwing motion for faults or deficits that lead to alterations in the throwing mechanics of the athlete A full body functional screen is performed and focuses on detecting any physical limitations that can prevent you from achieving your most efficient and effective throwing mechanics. Utilizing Dartfish 2-D video analysis software, our throwing specialist physical therapist will use video to capture your throw, break down the phases of throwing and analyze the mechanics during each phase for faults. . Corrective exercises and/or drills to assist the athlete correct deficits found during the assessment. Immediate feedback allows the athlete to take something from the session to begin working on at home. The athlete will also receive a CD-ROM containing the throwing session for future use.

    • Individualized home stretches, exercises, and drills to meet your specific needs
    • A CD-ROM of your throwing session for review at home or with coaches.
