Conditions Treated
The Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery Division at Cincinnati Children’s provides comprehensive general and specialized surgical treatment of a wide range of congenital (existing at birth) and acquired conditions affecting children from birth through young adulthood. These include common conditions such as appendicitis and hernias, as well as rare or complex conditions such as anorectal malformations, pediatric tumors and congenital abnormalities.
Below is a partial listing of the conditions treated in the Division of Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery. Whenever possible, a link is provided for a Health Topic that explains in more detail the nature of the condition, symptoms and treatment.
If your child has been diagnosed with a condition that is not listed and you would like to ask about treatment, contact us at 513-636-4371 or pedsurgery@cchmc.org.
