A Unique Approach to Care
Advantages of Collaboration
Advantages of this close collaboration among specialists for families include:
- Scheduling only one appointment, at one location, to see all doctors and care providers
- The child is put under anesthesia only once for evaluation (not separately for each sub-specialist)
- All physicians share a single patient record and together develop a collaborative treatment plan
- Continuity of care throughout the entire length of treatment
