Bio

Lisa Hunter, PhD, CCC-A, FAAA, is an Associate Professor and Director of the Audiology Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center. She was previously an Associate Professor and Director of the Audiology Doctoral Program at the University of Utah. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota, and her Master's degree in Audiology at the University of Cincinnati. She is certified in Audiology by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, 1986, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Audiology. She was the principle investigator of a National Institutes of Health project on Long-Term Sequelae of Otitis Media in Children, as well as other grants in Otitis Media and Hearing Loss in Children. She has authored over 50 publications on otitis media and other topics, as well as numerous national and international presentations on pediatric audiology, otitis media, hearing loss and hearing disorders in children. She has chaired numerous committees for national professional organizations and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Audiology.
