Bio

Kelly A. Baroch, MA, CCC-A, F-AAA, is a staff audiologist with the Division of Audiology and oversees the Newborn Hearing Screening Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Ms. Baroch completes Auditory Brainstem Response Evaluations (ABR), Ototacoustic Emissions Evaluations(OAE), and high frequency tympanometry on inpatient newborns and infants. In addition, she gives presentations regarding newborn hearing screening and auditory development in infants to local and state professionals.

Ms. Baroch has participated in several committees within the Division of Patient Services at Cincinnati Children's. She is a member of the Developmental Care Team in the Regional Center for Newborn Intensive Care (RCNIC) where she participates in medical rounds, developmental rounds and serves on the committee dedicated to the Older Baby in the ICU setting. She is a former member of the Employee Selection Process Committee for Cincinnati Children's. Ms. Baroch also serves as a consultant on noise levels for various units throughout the hospital.

Ms. Baroch joined Cincinnati Children's in 1998 in her clinical fellowship year. Her externship training was completed at Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio, and her graduate degree at San Diego State University in San Diego, California. Ms. Baroch is an AuD candidate at the Arizona School for Health Sciences.
