The Aaron W. Perlman Center, an affiliate of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, is the only community and regional resource that offers state-of-the-art, therapy-based services and community support focused on the singular goal of helping children with physical disabilities achieve independence and inclusion.
The Perlman Center has led the way in progressive application of high technology to support children (and adults) with disabilities in the Greater Cincinnati area.
During 1998, over 300 community professionals and healthcare providers received training and technical assistance provided by The Perlman Center. Because of its high credibility in the community and beyond, Perlman is sought out as a valuable community resource.
The Perlman Center staff collaborates with most school districts in the Greater Cincinnati area to support the technology and physical access needs of children who are school age. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of necessary equipment is secured each year for children served by The Perlman Center.
