Partnerships
The Perlman Center collaborates with a number of community organizations and providers in the community, including,
Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MR & DD)
- MR/DD provides partial support for the Perlman Early Therapeutic Programs and Transition Services.
Southwest Special Education Regional Resource Center (SERRC)
- Perlman provides specialty consultation to SERRC to enhance the knowledge of school personnel in the area of assistive technology applications within the school environment.
School Districts
- Perlman provides technical assistance to most school districts to promote the successful inclusion of children with physical disabilities and chronic physical conditions.
University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and Miami University
- Perlman is a practicum site for students pursuing masters level education in the areas of speech pathology, occupational therapy and special education.
- Occupational and physical therapy students from other universities may complete clinical placements at the Perlman Center.
The Perlman Center is an active member of several collaborative groups, including:
